Well we are already into the second month of the year which for The Heuga Center means we are entering into our Vertical Express for MS season.  Don't get me wrong, the preparation time has been underway for quite some time and now it is time for the events to begin!

Last evening was the Winter Wine and Ski Expo held at the Atlantis Casino Resort and Spa in Reno, NV.  I did not attend this year, but have in the past and it is always a wonderful evening of fine wines and great food.  I appreciate the support of so many people to support people living with MS.  A special thanks goes out to Terry Owens Hurt for her organization of this event.  Also, many thanks to the teams of our Squaw Valley Vertical Express who volunteer and donate auction items to the silent auction.

Next weekend (February 9th) there are three events to support the Center, Schweitzer Mountain, ID; Big Sky, MT and Sunshine Village, Alberta.  If you are in any of those areas, swing by and check out the fun and excitment or better yet link over to www.verticalexpress.org and get together a team to participate in one of the events.  It is a great day of fun for a great cause.  You can Challenge the Mountain, Challenge Yourself and Change Lives.
