ARIZONA PROGRAMS

It has been another busy week on the programs and services side.  I'm currently in Tucson, Arizona, but we have had quite a presence in Arizona over the past seven days.  Last Saturday (November 3rd) we had a JUMPSTART program in Phoenix.  Wednesday we hosted a dinner for primary care providers in Phoenix and last evening (Thursday) we hosted a similar program in Tucson.  The primary care provider programs have been very well received.  The attendees have participated actively in discussion about the medical management of MS, but also have been very interested and supportive of the health and wellness programs provided by The Heuga Center.  Many thanks to Teva Neuroscience for their support of these programs.

We aren't done in Arizona, because tomorrow (Saturday) we have a JUMPSTART program scheduled here in Tucson.  We have 100 people scheduled and I'm looking forward to a wonderful program with Barbara Giesser, MD, Denise Nowack, RD and Dave Engstrom, PhD.  I believe that all those who attend will be extremely pleased with the information they receive.

Our JUMPSTART programs (in both Phoenix and Tucson) have been an enjoyable collaboration with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Arizona Chapter.  They have been a great partner in putting on these programs.  Many thanks for their assistance.

Until next time.  Brian
