Challenge the Mountain. Challenge Yourself. Change Lives!
Edwards, CO – The 2007 Vertical Express for Multiple Sclerosis (MS), presented by Fred Alger Management and Rolex Watch USA, hits the snowy slopes of eleven resorts across the U.S. and Canada. Skiers and riders of all ages and abilities will challenge the mountain, challenge themselves, and change lives. Proceeds benefit The Heuga Center for Multiple Sclerosis, a leading international non-profit organization helping people and families living with MS through innovative programs and services.
The Vertical Express for MS features teams comprised of three skiers/riders that raise a minimum of $1,000. The day’s activities include on-snow events, exciting prizes, complimentary lift tickets, food and goodie bags. Teams that raise $15,000 or more win a free trip to Vail, Colorado, to attend the April Awards celebration, April 12-15, 2007. Those who can’t attend an event are invited to participate on-line. Anyone can register for the Vertical Express for MS at www.verticalexpress.org or by calling 1.888.DO.IT.4MS.
Proceeds from the event allow people with MS to live full, productive lives by supporting The Heuga Center’s one-, three- and five-day programs that teach people with this incurable, neurological disease how to manage it to the best of their ability.
