Climbing Mountains

The 3rd Annual Climbing Mountains for MS event takes place Saturday and Sunday, September 9-10 on Castle Peak near Aspen, CO. This event, founded and hosted by the Colorado Academy of Denver MS Club, has raised enough funds each year to provide a CAN DO Program scholarship to a Colorado Academy family member.

Mike Marolt, renowned mountaineer and Heuga Center board member is volunteering his time to lead the hike which will involve camping out on Saturday night and summiting Castle Peak on Sunday. Though not a technical climb, Marolt and Aspen Expedition guides will offer equipment and their expertise to add to the experience.
